Founded in 1980 by Sri Swami Satchidananda, Yogaville is a vibrant spiritual community and yoga retreat center located on the banks of the James River in Buckingham, Virginia. It serves as the international organizational headquarters of Integral Yoga, the global community of which AgniWellCare is a proud part.
About the Ashram
The Ashram is a place where people from all walks of life come to study and practice the principles of Integral Yoga. It is home to monastic and lay practitioners who live together in a spirit of selfless service (Karma Yoga) and devotion (Bhakti Yoga). The heart of the Ashram is the Light Of Truth Universal Shrine (LOTUS), a unique interfaith monument dedicated to the light of all faiths and the world peace it can bring.
A Shared Lineage
As a community rooted in the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda, AgniWellCare maintains a deep and symbiotic relationship with the Ashram. Our founders and many of our members have trained at Yogaville, and we continue to draw inspiration from the diverse programs and dedicated practitioners there. Whether through shared celebrations, teacher trainings, or simply as neighbors on this holy ground, our paths are inextricably linked.

The daily life at Yogaville includes Hatha Yoga, meditation, chanting, and spiritual workshops, centered around the goal of achieving an easeful body, a peaceful mind, and a useful life.
