Mission
AgniWellCare is a Virginia religious nonprofit organized exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3). Programs are grounded in the Integral Yoga tradition founded by Sri Swami Satchidananda, integrating the classical branches of yoga — Rāja, Bhakti, Karma, Jñāna — and Hatha, Japa, Laya, and others.
The name "Agni" derives from the Sanskrit word for the sacred fire that purifies, illuminates, and transforms. Our mission is to kindle this inner flame of aspiration, fostering spiritual awakening, holistic well-being, mental clarity, and compassionate service.
Lineage
Integral Yoga, in the living tradition of Sri Swami Satchidananda. Affiliated through teacher certification (IYTA) and program affinity with Satchidananda Ashram — Yogaville, adjacent to our property in Buckingham County, Virginia.
Approach
Ecumenical. We welcome seekers from all backgrounds. Programs are open to the public; sliding-scale fees and scholarships ensure no one is turned away for inability to pay.
