Village Sangha Association (VSA)

A neighboring community in fellowship with AgniWellCare

The Village Sangha Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, incorporated in 2007, serving the residential community surrounding the Yogaville Ashram in Buckingham County, Virginia. Rooted in benevolence, VSA works to promote the spiritual, social, economic, and cultural life of the community — empowering neighbors to live out the vision of a global human family inspired by the call to create "Heaven on Earth."

VSA is governed by an elected Village Council of officers and district representatives. Its programs serve the everyday needs of community life, including affordable housing initiatives, a food co-op, financial assistance, recycling and community cleanups, classifieds, and a year-round calendar of gatherings and events.

AgniWellCare is grateful to count VSA among its community collaborators. As neighbors in the same sangha, we share a commitment to service (sevā), connection, and the wellbeing of all who live here. From time to time we work alongside VSA on programming and community gatherings, while each organization remains independent in its mission and governance.

The Market at the Village Commons

VSA hosts the Market at the Village Commons, a recurring community market held at 71 The Way — directly across from AgniWellCare's Agni Shala campus.

🗓 Every fourth Friday of the month

🕔 5:30 – 8:30 PM

📍 The Village Commons, 71 The Way, Buckingham, VA

The Market is a welcoming evening of local goods, food, and fellowship — a chance to gather with neighbors, support community vendors, and enjoy the spirit of the Village. All are warmly welcome.
